Paradise Restaurant sits on Main Street in Safety Harbor as a classic American diner serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch with a family-friendly vibe. Its straightforward, old-school atmosphere—complete with booth seating and traditional diner decor—makes it feel like a familiar spot where locals come for hearty meals without fuss.

This place is best known for generous portions and a varied menu that runs the gamut from comforting breakfast staples like country fried steak with eggs and Belgian waffles to Greek specialties such as the gyro platter and spinach pie. The menu also features solid sandwich combos, salads, and classic diner sides like cole slaw, catering to a broad range of tastes. It's a spot where you can easily enjoy a well-priced steak and eggs or indulge in a layered chocolate cake, fitting for those who appreciate familiar, filling dishes rather than trendy or gourmet twists.

Paradise fits those looking for a no-frills, familiar breakfast or lunch in a setting that feels homely and unpretentious. It draws families, local workers, and neighborhood visitors who appreciate traditional diner service and atmosphere. Sundays and weekend mornings tend to be busiest, with large portions and plates piled high keeping people satisfied and coming back for more. The close-knit, mom-and-pop energy shows in how full the place gets during peak hours, making it a lively stop after morning strolls or weekend errands around Safety Harbor.

For anyone wanting a relaxed meal that stretches beyond only breakfast, Paradise offers enough variety to keep everyone at the table happy—from fresh Greek salads (though customers note the salad greens lean toward bagged mix rather than super fresh) to breakfast skillets and patty melts. While the experience is rooted in tradition rather than modern diner reinvention, the food quality and friendly, no-pressure service create a dependable neighborhood spot to drop into for a casual, satisfying meal.

If your visit lands around midday, expect a cozy crowd navigating through an old-fashioned diner rhythm, with friendly chatter and the comfort of plates made with familiar flavors rather than flash. Paradise is not about the trends—it’s about the steady, welcoming quality of an American diner in a Florida coastal town.

Very much a traditional Diner. From booths to menu options and decor. This is the old school Diner feel. Had steak and eggs... Sirloin steak was pretty good. It was tender and cooked the way I like it. I was not expecting Burns steakhouse but for Diner quality I was pleased along with the pricing. No complaints, I would come back for lunch. But it's a traditional Diner Vibe for sure.

We drove up to the Safety Harbor to see some sites up there. Then we stopped to have something to eat off of Main Street and stopped into a place called Paradise Restaurant. The place is very cozy. It reminds me of a diner which had a very homely feeling. There were three of us who ordered an omelette, the other ordered eggs with pancakes and the other ordered a fish sandwich. All three dishes were very tasty and plenty. Their prices were very reasonable. The waitress was very nice and very accommodating.

We stopped for lunch today. What a cute place. Enjoyed our time together here. We were in the area for an appointment. My Mom and sister enjoyed their sandwiches. I went for the Greek Salad with Gyro meat! Now my review is my honest opinion. You should go try it! I will be returning. The only thing I can say about my salad…is that in my opinion, I prefer a fresh salad over a bag mix. A Greek salad shouldn’t have cabbage, spinach or grated carrots in it! I also prefer smaller pieces of cucumber and tomato. I spent a bit of time cutting everything in pieces to eat. If you don’t mind these things, you will love it! Everything else was great! You do you! Mom said it was one of the best BLT’s she’s had and my sister enjoyed her Turkey Club. Next time, I want to try an Italian dish! Again, we will be back! It is too cute not to and the food was fresh. I love the diner look of the interior from the moment you step in. The mural on the kitchen wall and the delicious case of desserts to tempt every palate! Give it a try!

The restaurant was packed full with custermers at the Sunday morning when we entered in. Three of us ordered those breakfast that was loaded with full plate and huge portions which is super satisfying ad worth what we paid for . The pancake that my friend ordered was almost the size of big like one's face () ,very happy to come here . Will definitely want to return next time .

A restaurant we have visited in the past and decided to revisit when in the area with friends after Tuesday Bible study. Arrived about 11:20 AM and were seated right away. Brought drinks and menus to glance over. One of the specials for the day was Baby Greek Salad and 1/2 Spanakopita. That looked great so my wife, our friend and myself all ordered it. We chatted for a little bit and our plates arrived. The "Baby" Greek Salad was no baby. I immediately went for the Spinach Pie, warm and crispy and wonderful, fluffy with a good amount of filling. Everyone loved it. The Greek salad was great, loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, peppers and Feta over a portion of Potato Salad. Also great, but a good amount. So we all had leftovers to carry home. There were plenty of customers enjoying Brunch, but no overflow, probably why the nice shaded patio was closed. No matter it was cool inside. Decorations were great, reminding us of a trip we took to a small Greek island. They also have a great selection of desserts, hard to pass up, but we did. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, couldn't be better.

Stopped here for breakfast. Seemed like a popular place for breakfast. I got the Greek style egg omelet with fried potatoes and toast. Everything was delicious. I was a bit confused who was my waitress as two different people came to the table. But in the end I got my food and check in a reasonable amount of time. Visit was in December they had a pretty Christmas tree up. I think most people myself included like to sit by the windows to look out on the town.

This is a nice family friendly restaurant in downtown Safety harbor. The food is pretty good, lots of seating. The service is friendly as always. The only con I can note is the restaurant needs some TLC on the inside.
